I & G Cohen Ltd was established in 1959 making us 50 years old in 2009. I & G Cohen has been recognized for its role in the collection and sorting of used clothing and household textiles and exporting them worldwide. In 2008 the company won the Queens award for Enterprise, international trade category, the family Business of the year award run by the EN Magazine and in 2009 Salford international trade award.I & G Cohen Ltd operate textile collection schemes for local authorities, waste management companies and charities nationwide we collect in excess of 300 tonnes of used clothing each week making us one of the largest textile collectors in the UK.I & G Cohen Ltd are members of the Textile Recycling Association (TRA) and Elliot Cohen, the Managing Director of the company is a former chairman and a founder member of Recyclatex, he has represented the TRA at the Bureau of International Recycling
